Born in Athens in 1973, Dimitris was trained as a graphic and interaction designer in Athens and London. He worked at The London Times and Spook Media in London before opening his studio in Athens in 2000. He has won First Prize at the Greek Design Awards for poster design in 2007 and in 2008 represented Greece in the poster exhibition 27 Graphistes Pour l’Europe that took place at the airports of Paris. In 2007 his book/project Flotsam & Jetsam was published by Gema Editions and in 2008 he gave a lecture at the graphic design conference held in Zilhina, Slovakia on the Strange Case of Greek Graphic Design. In 2009 he organized and curated the international poster exhibition 30 Posters on Immigration with the participation of top designers from around the world that took place at the central metro station of Athens, and represented Greece in the international publications Small Studios and Graphic Europe. In 2010 he introduced his own publishing venture with his book Everyday Typography and the series of graphic design mini books titled Unimportant Details.
